Curling is a sport played on ice, popular mostly in Canada. It involves stones and brooms. Theo Epstein is president of baseball operations for the Chicago Cubs.
You'd think these two things do not go together. But as our friends at SB Nation Chicago point out, you'd be wrong about that. (It was for a Cubs corporate "team building event." Photographic evidence after the jump.)

Very cool - I just did something similar out in Triumph, IL...
…only it was a fund-raising event for a local little league organization. Definitely recommend it to anyone who gets an opportunity. It was a lot of fun.
FYI: Theo’s in the ‘skip’ role, using the broom to paint a target for the ‘thrower’, who’s at the other end. And by holding out his left arm, Theo’s asking for a clockwise spin on the release. To put it in baseball terms, if the thrower is right-handed, a clockwise release would be akin to throwing a screwball; counter-clockwise would be a curve.
I have no idea what would happen if Tim Wakefield were the ‘thrower’…
