Theo Epstein on leaving the Red Sox:
That is just the way I am wired; I tend to get a little bit restless in places. I believe in change, rebirth and new challenges ... I didn’t want to go anywhere because it was a nice situation, or because the weather was nice. Because the Cubs haven’t won in 103 years and have a fan base that wants a winner, the job connected with me. That is what makes it fun.
One year ago, I wrote my first piece for SB Nation. Since then, I've been through a great deal of change, a rebirth even, and the challenges have been ... well, exceptionally challenging. And I've never had more fun. Thanks for reading.

You seem to be having fun
Which is what makes reading SBNation that much more fun.
Thanks for being a traitor to the MSM.
Thought I had seen it all. Then Marco Scutaro stole 2nd base on a walk.
Sure I had seen it all. Then Jose Bautista stole 3rd base during and IBB.
Now I've seen it all. I think.

You and the SBNation gang
Deliver great content every day. Thanks, Rob, and best wishes for the future.

And I thank you for having the reason to celebrate it
Otherwise, I’d probably still be getting my sports fix from the network-which-must-not-be-named, and wouldn’t have found SBNation, it’s quirky MLB staff, and Federal Baseball.
Now, about those chats, …
Brain: "Pinky, are you pondering what i'm pondering?"
Pinky: "Yes, ... wait, ... no, ... never mind"

Everything i know about baseball, has (directly or indirectly) come through here.
If i wasnt applying to colleges this year, i would’ve had no hesitation in proclaiming that SBnation is my most visited site of every single day.
