Happy Solstice to everyone -- it's the longest day of the year. To celebrate, MLB Network is carrying a doubleheader today. OK, so that's not because of the solstice, it's just because it's Tuesday. All times Eastern.
7 p.m., MLB Network, WWOR, FSN Ohio: Yankees at Reds. The Yankees continued their destruction of the NL Central by winning their third straight over that division Monday night. Tonight, the man with the synthetic-material glove (Brian Gordon) faces Johnny Cueto. The New York and Cincinnati markets will see the Blue Jays and Braves on MLB Network.
8 p.m., WGN, CSN Chicago: Cubs at White Sox. National TV tonight for this rivalry, which features two pitchers who have thrown no-hitters: Matt Garza and Mark Buehrle.
8 p.m., FSN Wisconsin, Sun Sports: Rays at Brewers. The Brewers are 1-3 in interleague play so far; the Rays 5-2. Tampa Bay sends Jeremy Hellickson against Zack Greinke tonight.
10 p.m., MLB Network, CSN Bay Area, FSN North: Twins at Giants. The Twins are the hottest team in the majors, riding a seven-game winning streak and moving out of last place. Can they keep it going against the tough Madison Bumgarner? In the Minneapolis and San Francisco markets, MLB Network viewers get Tigers vs. Dodgers.
