12 noon, NESN, STO: Red Sox at Indians. The rubber game of this series features Boston's Jon Lester against Cleveland's Mitch Talbot.

1 p.m., YES Network, RSN: Blue Jays at Yankees. There's only 2.5 games between first and fourth place in the AL East; this is an important game for Toronto if they want to show the big boys they're still in the race. Jo-Jo Reyes faces Freddy Garcia.

7 p.m., ESPN2, CSN Philadelphia, FSN Ohio: Reds at Phillies. The Reds broke their losing streak last night and hope to take this series behind Travis Wood. It'll be tough, as the Phillies send Roy Halladay to the mound.

10 p.m., KNTV, FSN Florida: Marlins at Giants. You wouldn't have guessed before the season that this would be a matchup of contending teams, but here it is. Chris Volstad pitches against Madison Bumgarner.
